Most Creative
Best Dog/Owner Combination
Winners of the three categories will compete for the Top Dog Award.
Judges:
Mayor Pete Bass, Judge Marty Landgrebe, Candlewoof Park President Brian McDonald, and Animal Welfare Society President Diane Saracini will decide the winners based on costume design, originality, creativity and humor.
All participants receive goody bags and medals will be awarded to the winners in each category.

Registration is free. Donations to benefit New Milford's Animal Welfare Society, a non-profit organization are most welcome. Contestants are also encouraged to bring Wet or Dry Dog Food, Collars, Leashes, Blankets and Dog Bowls to the event for the Society.
Rules:

Dogs must be good health and current on all shots and vaccinations - and on a non-retractable leash under owner's control at all times while at Riverfest.

Participation limited to paid entrants.

Only dogs allowed at this event. Do not bring cats or other animals.

Event officials reserve the right to refuse entry to aggressive dogs.

You must clean up after your dog.

Contest is not limited to New Milford residents.
Water and Pet Waste Bags will be available.
